The summer is coming soon. Take some precautions when staying at a pet friendly accommodation. Remember what you find alright for your pet to do at home, may indeed harm something and have you lose a deposit left. Coving furniture or bed linens is highly suggested so they do not harm them in any way. Also use a crate or cage your pet while you are out of the room for any long periods of time. Thus, eliminating any possibility of damage to the room. The bathroom area or place a mat on the floor for the pet bowl so as not to have the food or water spilling on the floors and can be easily cleaned.
In case of hotel reservation you need to check the hotel is responsive for your dog or not. If it is, you have to inform about your dog to them and then you may have to be charged for some pet fee. It is also very popular to take your dog to pet friendly cabins during summer time. You can hike with your dog and enjoy the great view and facility in the cabin.
Here are some tips to follow:
1. keep a clean room, pick up after your pet. You have to be conscious about the cleanliness of your dog. The worst thing is to take leisurely walk at a hotel/cabin and to prairieland in dog poop.
2. Use your good sense to keep your pet safe at all times while away from your room/cabin.
3. Never leave your pet alone for a long time on the car, especially during summer time. The task is taken as cruelty to animal and in opposition to the law. By raising the windows heat dramatically your pet can die.
